Before you even begin this first step, make sure you know where your STUREC© is located in your computer system! To find out, start STUREC© in the normal manner. With the Main Menu on the screen, press Alt-V to pop-up the Version Info screen. It should look like this.

Make a note of the Default Directory then press <space> to close the pop-up.

To start the download, just click the appropriate Download [software] Now! link on the Downloads area. A moment or two later, you should see the standard Save As... dialog (you may have to select "Save File" from an intermediary dialog first), 

You need to navigate the Save As... dialog box to the correct drive and folder containing STUREC© Default Directory as you noted above, or a floppy disk. 

Once you click the Save button on the dialog, the file should begin downloading to the location you specified. NOTE: if prompted, always click "Yes" to replace the existing file.

2. Run the installer program.

Example: If your STURECİ is installed in C:\SR40, you downloaded (saved) the utility file to C:\SR40, then you would open a DOS prompt, change to the SR40 directory, and type C:\SR01NEW -o and press [Enter]. Or you may use the explorer (MyComputer) to navigate to the correct drive and folder then just DoubleClick on the installer, in this case SR01NEW.exe Answer Y (Yes) every time PKWare ask permission to Overwrite an existing file. When you see the "SRNOTES.TXT" file listed on the screen, just click on the X in the upper right corner of the DOS box to clo se.
